Team
JENNA ZILINCAR, Creative Director
“I love it when people walk away from our work and see something in a different light.”
Jenna’s creative stance is simple: Create designs that affect people. Naturally inquisitive, Jenna is constantly seeking out new and exciting experiences, and it is this openness and curiosity that also informs her work, allowing Jenna to concoct original approaches to branding and one-of-a-kind designs that stop people in their tracks.
Jenna studied design at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she had the opportunity to intern at top advertising firms. Always looking for a challenge, Jenna decided to step away from her agency job more than 8 years ago and start a place of her own: M Studio. Since its modest beginnings, M Studio has grown substantially, and the agency has helped countless clients find a distinctive voice that eloquently speaks to their customers.
SHANNON FUREY, Public Relations Director
“I see the extraordinary in the ordinary.”
Shannon has a true gift for uncovering an engaging story where others might not see one, and it is this gift that has allowed her to help companies—big and small—gain a strong public presence through an array of public relations strategies. She firmly believes that everyone has a story to tell, and, if you look hard enough, you can discover the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Attracted to the blend of business and creative that the PR field offered, Shannon honed her talents at New York University, where she earned a degree in journalism and mass communication. She went on to work for a television production company and a major advertising and public relations firm in Phoenix, Arizona, before landing her current role as PR director at M Studio.
Having studied classical ballet for more than a decade, Shannon learned the value of diligence and hard work early on. She lives by the mantra: “Persistence and Patience,” seeing them as key ingredients to generating potent results both in her work and her personal life.
JOSH PIVNICK, Design Executive
“I pull from everyday life.”
Josh looks to everyday life for inspiration. Josh believes in taking bits and pieces from his life experiences and infusing them in his work. Josh was drawn to creative pursuits at a young age, and has been recording and playing music for most of his life. To Josh, the similarity between music and a corporate identity are obvious: “With both, you are bringing together all these disparate elements to create a single, unified piece that tells a story in an intriguing and hopefully unconventional way.”
After earning a degree in design from the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Josh started freelancing for various companies, including M Studio, before stepping into his current role as design executive at the agency three years ago. Whether it’s music or brand development, Josh’s ultimate goal is to make a lasting mark, creating pieces that are timeless … and durable.
BRIGITTE CALI, Public Relations Executive
“I like to learn everything I can about my clients and their industries. Proper research can go a long way!”
An elementary education teacher turned public relations expert, Brigitte has been helping clients reach their full potential in the public sphere for the past four years. Her affable nature and incisive communication skills have allowed her to build an impressive list of media contacts and launch countless winning PR campaigns for a wide range of clients.
Brigitte fine-tuned her written and verbal communication skills while attending Villanova University, where she earned a degree in liberal arts, with a minor in English. Brigitte likes to approach every project with a fresh perspective, and she believes that a successful PR campaign begins with a robust plan. Of course, she also understands that no plan ever works exactly as expected, and knows very well that being able to swiftly acclimate to change is just as crucial as the plan itself. While Brigitte is interested in every aspect of PR, she really enjoys developing and promoting events, gaining deep satisfaction from seeing them come full circle.
JENN SHAUGER, Designer
“I love seeing an idea grow into something real.”
If there is one thing that Jenn loves, it’s creating. She is always on the hunt to expand her horizons and try new things, inside and outside of work, and she is constantly searching for outlets for her design talents—whether it’s drawing on wood in her garage, sewing, or designing invites for friends.
Jenn took her love of creating and parlayed it into a career in design, earning a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design from the Mason Gross School of the Arts. She started her career soon after as a designer for M Studio. Drawn to the fast pace of agency work, Jenn approaches all of her projects with boundless enthusiasm, an open mind, and a deep love for her craft.
SUZAN GLOBUS, Strategic Planning Specialist
“Strategic planning reenergizes businesses; not to mention, it helps them operate more effectively and profitably, and everyone is looking for that.”
Suzan, a trained strategic planner and change leader, has served as a consultant for numerous for-profit and not-for-profit corporations, helping them gain a crystal-clear vision of who they are, where they plan to go, and how they will get there. To her, the actual process is the most valuable component of strategic planning because it helps to align and energize all those involved. Suzan loves to see people get excited about their work, and she is a staunch proponent of the power of strategic planning, which she sees as an important first step in any branding effort.
